Classes start June 10th ,2011. 6:30-7:30pm at Vivace Studios. 291A JAne st. Toronto
- No AUDITIONS! This class is for dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced. If you have never performed before, or have very little training in the specific style of dance this is a great opportunity!
- The instructor/choreographer will work on one dance with the class, building on the choreography every week until the dance is complete. Each class will consist of review, new material, and practice of current material.
- These classes are designed to learn choreography; therefore, strengthening and foundation techniques taught in regular group classes will not be the major focus.
- These classes will be by registration only to ensure a consistent group of students. To keep strengthening your technique, we encourage students to continue regular group classes.
- Stage presence, performance dynamics, formation building and spatial awareness, memory building, and overall confidence will be the major focus of our Performance Class.
What if I miss a class? - There will be no refunds or credits for classes missed, however, we encourage students who miss a class to get together with other classmates before or after a scheduled class to go over material missed. Studio space will be offered FREE of CHARGE for this. Otherwise, a private lesson with your choreographer could be scheduled upon request.
How much does it cost and how do I register? We are offering 2 payment options for the Performance Class:
1)Payment in Full: $180/ 12 classes. NO HST charge
2)Payment in 2 instalments of $90 plus HST
- There may be additional costs with regards to costumes, and shoes, however, all additional costs are discussed with each class and agreed to by the entire class.
Registrations end May 27th. NO DROP INS will be allowed. You can register directly at Vivace Studios (cheque or cash) OR by mailing a 50% deposit cheque.

For Dealticker students, you can use ONLY your 8 group classes or the number of classes you have remaining for this session (if you sign up for this course the Private class will be held at 51 Juliana Court) you can work on the routine in process (highly recommended) or in any other of the styles above. As this course is 12 weeks you must pay for the 4 classes by May 27th. So your total amount would be: $60 plus HST = 67.80 plus HST charge for the Dealticker service ($2.50) = $70.30

This 1 1/2 hr class will make you sweat and have some fun. Some elements of Hip Hop will be used to create a fusion of both genres. Come ready to shake your body.. We'll be working on waves and torso isolations.
